Aspire Apparel YYC is a student-led company created during Junior Achievement’s 2021-22 Company Program year. We strive to bring creativity to streetwear and casual clothing by showcasing original artwork on our shirts. Currently, we have two lines of products. The first product is a transfer-paper based custom shirt in which customers can submit a non-copyrighted design to be transferred to the shirt. Our second product is a ready-made vinyl print shirt featuring the artwork of local artists and company members. You can order our pre-made shirts here and our custom shirts here.
We know how important the community is to our success, and this is why we have several current and upcoming opportunities! Over the winter holiday season, our Marketing department had recruited over 20 brand ambassadors to showcase our selection of pre-made shirt designs. We ensured that the entire photographic experience was professional and it’s an experience the models will never forget. We are still looking for new brand ambassadors if anyone is interested! In addition to our brand ambassadors, we are also looking for talented individuals with a passion for graphic design and visual arts to contribute to our pre-made shirts! Artists of any age can submit any original artwork and have the potential opportunity to get featured on our social media pages and products. The Aspire Apparel team will be contributing 15% of the company revenue to the organization Be the Change YYC in our efforts to combat chronic homelessness in Calgary. We want to make sure that our donation is going to the right place who is doing the right thing to support the cause. Be the Change YYC is a grassroot initiative based out of Calgary, and they do regular homeless outreach every week to provide essential items to individuals who choose to stay in encampments instead of shelters for personal and safety reasons.
