Quynh is a grade 9 student at Westmount Charter School in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. They attended both online and in class during the COVID pandemic. Here are the experiences they shared with Palette under our Learning and Teaching During COVID series.

They went through major obstacles during the pandemic:

“I had a lot of trouble keeping up with my class. It was really hard for me to focus and I would miss my deadlines.”

On the optimistic side:

“I had more time in the morning to eat my breakfast because I didn’t have to get my stuff ready and physically go to school.”

These are the technologies they used for online school:

“Laptop, Google meetings, Headphones.”
