Karuna Rai is a grade 10 student at Winston Churchill High School in Lethbridge, Canada. She attended grade 9 and 10 classes in school and online during the COVID pandemic. Here are the experiences she shared with Palette under our Learning and Teaching During COVID series.

These are some struggles she went through:

“It was hard to remain focused and to stay caught up when we were attending online classes. In person classes were much easier.”

She had some positives during the pandemic as well:

“I like in person classes and it made me realise online was not for me.”

These are some technologies that she used when attending online school:

“Laptop, Phone, Zoom, Microsoft Teams”
